The Big Green Limecrete Machine measures the right ratios of lime, lightweight insulating aggregate and water and mixes them together using forced action.
Batching in this way results in consistant quality of limecrete, fast.
We have fitted a fibre chopper to the Big Green Limecrete Machine. Our test cubes results are confirming that the addition of fibres significantly increases the strength of the slab. This also makes the slab accessable to work on sooner and allows screed to be placed after a shorter curing time.
Having fitted a water heater we are now able to lay sucessful slabs for most of the year. This February, the combination of a warm limecrete mix and heating of the room during the curing process enabled slabs to be laid despite the snow to fit in with clients' schedules.
